About This Role
Narayana School Rishra seeks a skilled TGT Computer Science Teacher to join our team in Hooghly, West Bengal. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Computer Science to students at our school.
What You Will Do
- Teach Computer Science to students in grades 6-10.
- Prepare lesson plans and curriculum materials for Computer Science classes.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide feedback to students.
- Use technology to enhance teaching and learning in the classroom.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school projects.
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Communicate with parents and guardians through regular progress reports.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in Computer Science and apply new ideas in the classroom.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Post-graduate degree in Computer Science or Education.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification.
- 5 years of experience in teaching Computer Science.
Good to Have
- CTET or TET certification.
- Experience in teaching Computer Science to students at the secondary level.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of Computer Science concepts and curriculum.
- Experience with educational technology and online resources.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
