Key Responsibilities

As a TGT Science Teacher at Narayana School Rishra, you will be responsible for:

- Designing and implementing engaging Science curricula for classes 6-10
- Mentoring junior staff members to enhance their teaching skills
- Conducting regular assessments to gauge student progress and board results
- Developing and implementing evaluation strategies to measure student learning outcomes
- Collaborating with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Staying updated with the latest developments in Science education and incorporating them into the curriculum
- Participating in staff meetings and contributing to the decision-making process
- Managing classroom discipline and creating a safe learning environment
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Contributing to the development of the Science department's short-term and long-term goals
- Participating in school events and activities to promote Science education and awareness

Required Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, you must possess:

- A postgraduate degree in Science (M.Sc./M.A.) or a related field
- A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree with at least 5 years of teaching experience
- NET or SET certification preferred but not mandatory
- Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
