Who You Will Teach
You will be responsible for teaching Biology to students of Class XI and XII, catering to a diverse range of learning abilities and needs. Your classroom management skills will ensure a productive and engaging learning environment, where students feel motivated to explore and understand complex biological concepts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the CBSE curriculum, incorporating innovative teaching methods and technologies
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their understanding of Biology
- Prepare students for competitive exams such as NEET and JEE by providing additional support and guidance
- Foster a sense of community in the classroom, encouraging students to participate and collaborate in group activities
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship with students, parents, and colleagues
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of Biology and integrate this knowledge into your teaching practices
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement school-wide initiatives and projects
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and subject knowledge
Required Qualifications
- Post-graduate degree in Biology (M.Sc or equivalent) with a strong academic background
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree required for teaching positions
- TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory
Preferred Skills
- Proven teaching experience of at least 4 years in a school setting, preferably with experience in teaching Biology to Class XI and XII students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and colleagues alike
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to apply it in a practical teaching context
- Familiarity with the CBSE curriculum and assessment structure
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing circumstances
