We seek an accomplished and experienced PGT Geography Teacher to join Narayana School Howrah. The selected candidate will be responsible for imparting Geography education to students from Classes VI to X. As a senior teacher, you will be expected to lead the curriculum development and implementation process for Geography, ensure academic excellence, and foster a positive learning environment.
Day-to-Day Duties
As a PGT Geography Teacher, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing and delivering engaging Geography lessons to students from Classes VI to X
- Developing and implementing Geography curriculum for the school
- Coaching students for Geography board exams and preparing them for competitions
- Conducting regular assessments and providing feedback to students
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Collaborating with peers to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects
- Participating in school events and activities, including cultural and sports events
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in Geography education
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A post-graduate degree in Geography (MA or MSc) or a related subject
- A minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- A valid B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- Preference will be given to candidates who possess a valid TET or CTET certification
