PRT Dance Teacher Job in Howrah, West Bengal | School Recruitment
About This Role
Narayana School, Bally Jagachha uses smart boards in every classroom and records every dance session for review and feedback. The PRT Dance Teacher will plan lessons using blended learning and guide students through both classical and contemporary forms.
Teaching Approach
Lessons are planned on Google Classroom and uploaded to the school’s LMS with video demonstrations. Smart boards display choreography counts, music tracks, and alignment cues during practice. Blended learning combines live instruction with recorded drills so students can rehearse at home.
Day-To-Day Duties
Create weekly choreography videos on a tablet and upload to the LMS for students and parents.
Maintain a digital attendance register linked to the school’s biometric system.
Use smart boards to display step-by-step counts for Bharatanatyam and Hip-Hop routines.
Conduct online warm-up sessions on Zoom twice a week for absent students.
Design Google Forms quizzes on dance history and theory every fortnight.
Collaborate with the music teacher to sync audio files with choreography videos.
Update the LMS grade book with rubric scores after each practical assessment.
Organize end-of-term dance showcases using live streaming tools for parents.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduate in any discipline with B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized Indian university.
Minimum 4 years of full-time Dance Teacher Job in Howrah experience in a school setting.
Familiarity with digital tools such as smart boards, Google Classroom, and LMS platforms.
Preferred Skills
Fluency in operating smart boards and basic video editing on tablets.
Ability to create and share content through Google Classroom and LMS.
Experience with online teaching tools and blended learning modules.
Confidence in conducting virtual dance sessions for remote learners.
