About This Role
Narayana School Howrah is seeking a qualified and experienced TGT Biology Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Biology to students from class VI to X. If you are a Biology enthusiast with a passion for teaching, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Biology to students from class VI to X.
- Prepare and implement lesson plans as per the school curriculum.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress.
- Develop and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Participate in school events and activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- Postgraduate degree in Biology (M.Sc/B.Sc with relevant specialization).
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree.
- Experience in teaching Biology in a school setting ( minimum 4 years).
Good to Have
- TET or CTET certification.
- Experience in teaching in a CBSE or ICSE school.
- Familiarity with the West Bengal school curriculum.
Preferred Skills
- Strong subject matter expertise in Biology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
