Key Responsibilities
Conduct engaging Chemistry classes for Grades VI to X, following the West Bengal Board syllabus and school curriculum. Prepare lesson plans, practical experiments, and worksheets that stimulate curiosity and reinforce concepts. Evaluate student performance through periodic tests, quizzes and project work, and maintain accurate records of grades and attendance. Coordinate with the Science department to align lab schedules and share resources. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and address any concerns in a constructive manner.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Chemistry (M.Sc or equivalent) with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Candidates should have at least 2 years of classroom teaching experience. TET/CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
Minimum two years of teaching Chemistry at the secondary level, demonstrating ability to manage a classroom, conduct practical sessions safely, and support students with varying learning abilities.
Salary
Rs.21,000 - Rs.45,000 per month, payable as per school policy.
