As a TGT Geography Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of geographers and responsible citizens. You will be responsible for delivering engaging Geography lessons to students in Uluberia I, Howrah, and fostering a love for learning in the classroom.
What You Will Do
As a TGT Geography Teacher at Narayana School Howrah Uluberia, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and delivering comprehensive Geography lessons for students in grades 9-12
- Developing interactive and engaging learning materials to facilitate student learning
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to improve performance
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide curriculum initiatives
- Participating in staff development programs to stay updated on best practices in Geography teaching
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Contributing to the overall academic and extracurricular activities of the school

Who Can Apply
To be eligible for this role, you should have:
- A postgraduate degree in Geography or a related field
- A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is required for this teaching position
- A minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in Geography
- Strong knowledge of the Geography curriculum and its implementation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
- Familiarity with the CTET/TET is preferred but not essential
