Prepare and maintain detailed lesson plans, including interactive activities, worksheets, and practical demonstrations to support learning. Collaborate with subject coordinators to assess student performance and recommend improvements in teaching strategies.
Assist in organizing school events like math competitions, science fairs, and workshops to encourage extracurricular engagement in the subject. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and discipline in line with school policies.
Qualification and Experience
A postgraduate degree in Mathematics or a related field is essential for this TGT Mathematics Teacher role. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for teaching positions in West Bengal schools. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this position.
Candidates with at least two years of teaching experience, preferably in a school setting, are encouraged to apply. Experience in adapting teaching methods for diverse learning abilities is highly valued.
