What You Will Do

Drive consistent improvements in board-result outcomes while maintaining a culture of high expectations.
Mentor two to four junior Mathematics Teachers through regular classroom observations and feedback sessions. Organise weekly department meetings to share best practices and address subject-specific challenges in the Howrah context. Lead the creation of term-wise test papers that reflect the latest CBSE blueprints and the learning levels of Uluberia I students.
Coordinate with the school’s academic coordinators to implement Narayana’s signature pedagogy—concept-building through daily practice and periodic tests. Oversee the Mathematics Olympiad and inter-house quiz participation to foster deeper engagement beyond textbooks. Liaise with parents in Uluberia I during PTMs to explain progress trends and suggest home support strategies.
Who Can Apply
Postgraduate in Mathematics with a minimum of five years of full-time Mathematics Teaching experience at the secondary level. B.Ed is mandatory; D.El.Ed holders with equivalent experience may also apply. TET or CTET is preferred but not essential for this senior role.
