Your Students

As a Physics Teacher, you will be responsible for guiding a class of students, helping them grasp complex concepts, and encouraging them to ask questions and explore the subject.

Day-to-Day Duties

- Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons to students of Class IX and X, using innovative teaching methods and visual aids to make learning fun and interactive.
- Prepare and administer assessments, quizzes, and exams to evaluate student progress and understanding of the subject.
- Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning, collaboration, and respect for diversity.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities that integrate Physics with other subjects.
- Communicate regularly with parents through progress reports, parent-teacher meetings, and other forms of communication to keep them informed about their child's academic performance.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Physics education, curriculum changes, and best practices in teaching and learning.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and events that promote academic excellence, community engagement, and social responsibility.
- Manage classroom resources, equipment, and materials to ensure effective teaching and learning.

Required Qualifications

- Post-graduate degree in Physics or a related field (M.Sc. or M.A.)
- B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree in Education
- Valid TET (West Bengal) or CTET certification (preferably)
- Minimum 4 years of teaching experience in a school setting
