Don Bosco School | Odlabari in Mal, Jalpaiguri is seeking a dedicated NTT Hindi Teacher to strengthen its language curriculum. This role focuses on delivering engaging Hindi instruction to students, aligning with the school’s commitment to holistic education in the region.
Responsibilities
Plan and conduct interactive Hindi lessons, covering grammar, vocabulary, and literature appropriate for different grade levels. Develop lesson plans that integrate cultural elements and regional language nuances to enhance student engagement. Use multimedia tools and traditional teaching methods to make learning enjoyable and effective.
Teach grammar rules, reading comprehension, and writing skills while fostering a positive classroom environment. Collaborate with other teachers to create cross-curricular activities that reinforce Hindi learning. Ensure students grasp basic conversational skills and cultural awareness through practical exercises.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Participate in school events, including festivals and language workshops, to promote Hindi as a vibrant part of daily life. Stay updated on teaching methodologies and educational trends to continuously improve lesson delivery.
Qualification
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) degree as per the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) guidelines. Possess a Graduate degree in Hindi or a related field from a recognized university. Preference may be given to candidates with a TET/CTET certificate, though it is not mandatory.
Experience
Proven experience of at least two years in teaching Hindi to students in a school setting. Familiarity with curriculum frameworks and assessment techniques for Hindi education is highly desirable. Experience working with diverse student backgrounds is a plus.
