Day-to-Day Duties
As a PRT Mathematics Teacher at Pranavananda Centenary Shikshayatan, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Planning and delivering Mathematics lessons to students of various learning levels
- Creating a conducive learning environment that promotes active participation and engagement
- Assisting students with Mathematics assignments and projects
- Developing and implementing individualized learning plans for students who require extra support
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide Mathematics programs
- Conducting regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and communicating with parents as needed
- Participating in school-wide professional development activities to enhance teaching skills
- Other duties as assigned by the school administration
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, you must have:
- A graduate degree in Mathematics or a related field
- A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics curriculum and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills
We are looking for a PRT Mathematics Teacher who has:
- Experience in teaching Mathematics to students with diverse learning levels
- Strong understanding of inclusive pedagogy and differentiated instruction
- Excellent patience and communication skills to work with students who require extra support
