3. Demonstrate and teach fundamental skills on instruments like the tabla, harmonium, or violin, ensuring students grasp proper technique and rhythm.
4. Organize weekly music activities, such as group performances, musical games, and school festivals, to boost participation and confidence.
5. Collaborate with the principal and other teachers to integrate music into interdisciplinary projects, like storytelling through songs or art projects with musical themes.
6. Maintain a well-organized music room, stocking necessary instruments and resources to support hands-on learning.
7. Assess students’ progress through practical evaluations, quizzes, and performance-based assessments while providing constructive feedback.
8. Attend staff meetings and professional development workshops to stay updated on teaching methods and curriculum updates.
9. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels encouraged to explore their musical talents.
10. Ensure compliance with school policies regarding attendance, discipline, and safety in music-related activities.
