Role Summary
We are looking for a talented TGT Science Teacher Job in Jalpaiguri to join our team at Pranavananda Centenary Shikshayatan. As a TGT Science Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and inspiring them to pursue a career in science.
What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons to students in classes VI to X
- Prepare and implement curriculum-aligned lesson plans and assessments
- Conduct experiments and demonstrations to illustrate scientific concepts
- Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to improve their understanding
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide Science initiatives
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school decision-making processes
- Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive Science laboratory environment
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum changes and developments in Science education
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Science (B.Sc.) or a related field, a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree, and at least 2 years of experience in teaching Science at a school level. TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory.
