About This Role
The Narayana School Kalimpong seeks a skilled Drummer for full-time administrative leadership. This role involves managing the school’s music and cultural events while supporting the overall discipline and morale of the institution. The Drummer will work closely with the administration to plan and execute school functions, assemblies, and community engagements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead all school processions, assemblies, and ceremonial events with precise drumming and coordination.
2. Ensure discipline and punctuality during school gatherings by maintaining rhythm and order through drum signals.
3. Collaborate with the cultural team to prepare students for annual functions, competitions, and inter-school events.
4. Train and guide student volunteers in basic drumming techniques for school performances.
5. Maintain and clean all percussion instruments, ensuring they are performance-ready at all times.
6. Assist in organizing music-related activities such as school band rehearsals and patriotic song sessions.
7. Report directly to the school administration on event progress and any logistical requirements.
8. Represent the Narayana School Kalimpong in local cultural programs and inter-school music competitions.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must hold a graduate degree from a recognized university. Prior experience in school administration or event coordination is preferred. Basic computer proficiency in MS Office is necessary for scheduling and documentation.
