About This Role
We are seeking an experienced PGT Mathematics Teacher to join our faculty at Narayana School Kalimpong. As a PGT Mathematics Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the mathematical minds of our students. Your passion for Mathematics and dedication to teaching will help create a learning environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons to students of Kalimpong I, Kalimpong, West Bengal
- Develop and implement Mathematics curriculum for Classes 9-12
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to track student progress in Mathematics
- Prepare and administer Mathematics exams and quizzes
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop Mathematics projects and activities
- Provide guidance and support to students struggling with Mathematics concepts
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and assessment results
- Participate in Mathematics department meetings and contribute to curriculum development
- Stay updated with changes in Mathematics curriculum and pedagogy
Eligibility Criteria
- Post-graduate degree in Mathematics or related field (M.Sc, M.A.)
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree required for teaching positions
- 4 years of experience in teaching Mathematics in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics curriculum and pedagogy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students
