Sports Teacher Job in Kalimpong, West Bengal | School Vacancy — Immediate requirement.
Role Summary
Narayana School Kalimpong invites applications for the position of Sports Teacher to oversee sports activities and manage the sports department. This full-time role requires an experienced professional to plan, execute, and monitor all sports programs within the school. The Sports Teacher will work closely with the school administration to ensure a structured sports curriculum and maintain high standards of physical education.
What You Will Do
1. Plan and conduct daily sports activities and seasonal tournaments for students from classes I to XII.
2. Organize inter-house and inter-school sports competitions and coordinate with external agencies for events.
3. Maintain sports equipment inventory, ensure safety during practice sessions, and report any damages.
4. Prepare monthly and annual sports calendars in alignment with the school’s academic calendar.
5. Lead training sessions for student teams in cricket, football, athletics, and other popular sports.
6. Monitor student fitness levels and provide feedback to parents during PTMs.
7. Collaborate with the discipline and wellness teams to promote sportsmanship and teamwork.
8. Document attendance, performance records, and achievements of student athletes for reports.
Eligibility Criteria
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university is mandatory. A degree or diploma in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic internet usage is required for record-keeping and communication. Prior experience in school sports administration is essential.

Salary and Benefits
