Role Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced TGT English Teacher to join our team at Narayana School Kalimpong 12th Mile. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students from classes 9-12, creating engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress.
What You Will Do
- Teach English to classes 9-12, following the school's curriculum and guidelines.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons, incorporating various teaching methods and resources.
- Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes academic excellence and student well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute extracurricular activities and events.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development programs.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
- Develop and implement new teaching materials and resources to enhance student learning.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you must have a postgraduate degree in English, B.Ed, or D.El.Ed, and at least 4 years of teaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates with TET or CTET certification.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a salary of Rs.25,000 - Rs.45,000 per month, along with the following benefits:
