About This Role
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate TGT English Teacher to join the faculty at Narayana School Kalimpong, located in the picturesque town of Kalimpong I, Kalimpong, West Bengal. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English to students from classes 6 to 12.
What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students of varying skill levels.
- Assess student progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly.
- Conduct regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Develop and implement English language curriculum in alignment with school policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure holistic development of students.
- Use technology to enhance English language learning experiences for students.
- Prepare students for English language proficiency tests and competitive exams.
- Assist in maintaining a conducive learning environment in the classroom.
- Participate in school events and activities that promote English language learning.
- Perform administrative tasks as assigned by the school.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
- Postgraduate degree in English or related field.
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree or equivalent.
- 4 years of teaching experience in English, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of English language and literature.
Good to Have
- TET/CTET certification.
- Experience in teaching English language skills to students of varying skill levels.
- Familiarity with curriculum design and implementation.
