Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for Icse Senior Secondary School students, ensuring alignment with ICSE syllabus requirements. Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to support student progress in reading, writing, grammar, and literature.
Lead curriculum development initiatives and mentor junior teachers in English teaching methodologies. Coordinate with the English department to design lesson plans, worksheets, and model answers for board exam preparation.
Organize inter-house debates, elocution contests, and literary events to enhance students’ language skills and confidence. Monitor student performance in mock examinations and provide targeted intervention for weaker learners.
Coordinate with external examiners during ISC practical assessments and ensure timely submission of internal marks. Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, student progress, and assessment data for academic review.
