Accurate documentation of usage logs, incident reports, and maintenance schedules forms a key part of the role, as does assisting in periodic audits and compliance checks.
The position also involves liaising with external vendors for service contracts, troubleshooting minor equipment issues, and reporting major faults to the school’s administrative head.
A proactive approach to safety education, such as conducting briefings for students on proper lab conduct, is expected, even though the role does not involve direct teaching.
Salary
The remuneration for this full‑time LAB ASSISTANT position is Rs.20,000 – Rs.30,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
