Position Overview
Iem Public School in New Town is seeking a dedicated Non-Teaching Staff (NTT) Mathematics Teacher to join their team in Kolkata, West Bengal. Based at A. C Lane, this role focuses on delivering high-quality mathematics instruction in the school’s senior sections. The teacher will engage students with engaging lesson plans, assessments, and interactive learning methods to strengthen their problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
The Mathematics NTT will prepare and deliver daily classes, covering topics from algebra to calculus, ensuring alignment with the school’s curriculum. They will assess student performance through quizzes, projects, and exams, providing constructive feedback. Collaboration with the mathematics faculty and administrative staff will help improve teaching strategies and classroom management.
Qualification and Experience
A graduate degree in Mathematics or a related field is mandatory. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is required for teaching roles. Three years of experience in mathematics education, preferably in a school setting, is essential. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage. The role offers a competitive salary of Rs. 16,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month.
