Job Description
Position: Non-Teaching Teacher (NTT) Mathematics at IEM Public School, Kankurgachi
Teach mathematics to students in classes 6 to 12 at IEM Public School in Kankurgachi, Kolkata. Develop engaging lesson plans and assessments aligned with the school’s curriculum while ensuring clarity and depth in algebraic, trigonometric, and calculus concepts. Collaborate with senior faculty to integrate modern teaching tools and adapt lessons to diverse learning needs.
Prepare students for board exams, including CBSE and West Bengal Board, by focusing on problem-solving skills and exam-specific strategies. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and participation to support academic growth.
Work in a structured school environment with defined class timings and reporting hours. Ensure compliance with school policies on discipline, attendance, and professional conduct. Provide guidance on study techniques and extracurricular activities related to mathematics to enhance overall student development.
Qualified candidates must hold a graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Three years of teaching experience in mathematics at the secondary or senior secondary level is mandatory. Salary will be paid monthly between Rs.14,000 and Rs.25,000, depending on performance and experience. The role is full-time with standard working hours applicable to the school schedule.
