Narayana School Park Circus is seeking a dedicated and skilled PGT Chemistry Teacher to join its faculty in Circus Avenue, Kolkata, West Bengal. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Chemistry education to students, promoting academic excellence, and contributing to the school's mission.
How You Will Teach
As a PGT Chemistry Teacher, you will employ innovative and practical methods to teach Chemistry, utilizing various tools, and equipment to ensure student engagement. You will design and conduct experiments, demonstrations, and activities that cater to different learning styles, making Chemistry a fascinating and enjoyable subject. You will also provide individualized attention to students, assess their progress, and modify your teaching strategies accordingly.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Prepare and deliver lessons on Chemistry, adhering to the school's curriculum and guidelines.
2. Conduct experiments, demonstrations, and activities to illustrate key concepts and principles.
3. Develop and implement assessments to evaluate student understanding and progress.
4. Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and progress.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental plans and initiatives.
6. Provide individualized support to students with special needs or difficulties.
7. Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and professional development activities.
8. Contribute to the development of the school's Chemistry department, including curriculum design and resource development.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate should hold a post-graduate degree in Chemistry, such as M.Sc. or M.A., with a specialization in Chemistry. A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. qualification is also mandatory, while TET or CTET certification is preferred.
Preferred Skills
The successful candidate should possess excellent teaching, communication, and interpersonal skills. They should be well-versed in Chemistry pedagogy, able to design and deliver engaging lessons, and have experience with lab safety protocols and equipment maintenance.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is Rs.45,000 - Rs.55,000 per month. Narayana School Park Circus offers a competitive benefits package, including medical insurance, leave travel allowance, and a supportive work environment.
