Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced PGT Computer Science Teacher to join Narayana School Park Circus in Kolkata, West Bengal. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Computer Science to students from classes VI to XII. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in Computer Science and teaching experience.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Prepare and deliver lesson plans for Computer Science classes, aligning with the school's curriculum and syllabus.
2. Teach Computer Science to students from classes VI to XII, using engaging and interactive methods.
3. Develop and implement assessment tools to evaluate student progress and understanding.
4. Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives.
6. Participate in parent-teacher conferences and meetings.
7. Stay updated with the latest developments in Computer Science and technology.
8. Assist with extracurricular activities related to Computer Science, such as coding clubs and competitions.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have:
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution
- Post-graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of Computer Science concepts and curriculum
Good to Have:
- TET/CTET qualification (not essential but preferred)
- Experience with curriculum development and implementation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Skills We Value

- Ability to work with students of different age groups and skill levels
