About This Role
We are looking for an experienced PGT English Teacher to join our team at Narayana School Park Circus. As a PGT English Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English to students from various backgrounds and abilities. Your primary focus will be on creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for English classes
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and pedagogy
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings and communicate with parents
- Stay updated with new teaching methods and technologies
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and events
- Contribute to school development and improvement
- Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents, and staff
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in English (MA, MSc, or equivalent)
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree
- CTET or TET certification (preferable but not essential)
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at a school
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Familiarity with Indian education system and curriculum
