Position Overview
The school is looking for a full‑time PGT Hindi teacher to join its faculty in Kankurgachi. The role involves delivering Hindi language instruction to senior secondary classes, preparing students for board examinations and fostering a love for literature and communication in Hindi.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging Hindi lessons for classes XI and XII, aligning with the West Bengal Board curriculum and incorporating contemporary teaching aids.
Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials and multimedia resources that cater to varied learning styles and promote critical thinking.
Conduct regular assessments, including formative quizzes, unit tests and board exam mock papers, and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and progress reports in accordance with school policies.
Participate in department meetings, curriculum reviews and school‑wide academic planning sessions.
Mentor junior teachers and contribute to professional development workshops as required.
Uphold the school’s code of conduct, attend staff meetings and engage in extracurricular activities that support Hindi culture, such as debates, essay competitions and dramatics.
Required Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Hindi or related discipline.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is essential.
CTET/TET certification preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum three years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level, preferably in a school setting.
Demonstrated proficiency in Hindi literature, grammar and composition, with the ability to inspire students.
