Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging history lessons that stimulate curiosity and deepen students’ understanding of key historical periods. Develop lesson plans incorporating modern teaching methods, real-world connections, and multimedia resources to enhance learning outcomes. Act as a subject mentor, guiding students in research projects, debates, and presentations on historical topics.
Prepare and assess written and oral assignments, ensuring students grasp historical concepts through varied assessment methods. Collaborate with the history faculty to refine curriculum content, ensuring it meets national education benchmarks. Maintain a classroom environment that encourages respect for diverse historical perspectives and promotes ethical discourse.
Qualification and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in History with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Three years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably in history or related subjects. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, a valid teaching certificate would be an advantage. Strong command of English and regional languages is essential for effective communication with students and parents.
Salary and Location
The successful candidate will be offered a monthly salary of Rs. 38,000 to Rs. 65,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
