PGT Physical Education Teacher Position at Convent Of Our Lady Of Providence Girls High School
Seeking a dedicated PGT Physical Education Teacher to join the faculty at Convent Of Our Lady Of Providence Girls High School in Kankurgachi, Kolkata. This role focuses on delivering high-quality Physical Education across senior secondary classes, ensuring students develop fitness, sportsmanship, and teamwork skills.
The successful candidate will design and implement structured PE programs aligned with school curriculum standards. This includes organizing indoor and outdoor activities, sports events, and fitness workshops that cater to diverse student abilities. Experience in motivating students through sports and games will be valuable.
A postgraduate degree in Physical Education or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed, is essential. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an asset for this role. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of teaching experience, preferably in a girls’ school setting.
This position offers a competitive salary of Rs.40,000 to Rs.70,000 per month, along with a supportive environment focused on holistic student development. The role emphasizes hands-on teaching, curriculum development, and fostering a positive sports culture within the school.
