PGT Political Science Teacher Position at IEM Public School, Kankurgachi
IEM Public School in North Kolkata seeks a dedicated PGT Political Science Teacher to join its Kankurgachi campus. This role involves shaping young minds with a deep understanding of political theory, governance, and contemporary issues. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for teaching and a passion for engaging students in critical analysis of political systems.
The primary responsibilities include designing and delivering engaging political science lessons aligned with the curriculum. You’ll also prepare and assess student work, mentor younger teachers, and participate in school events that promote civic awareness. A postgraduate degree in Political Science or a related discipline is mandatory. Holding a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is required for this position. While TET/CTET certifications are not mandatory, they will be an added advantage. Three years of relevant teaching experience at the secondary or senior secondary level is preferred.
