PGT Political Science Teacher Job in Kolkata, West Bengal | School Recruitment
Role
PGT Political Science Teacher at The Eagle Foundation Academy will design and deliver curriculum aligned with state standards, focusing on contemporary political issues and comparative politics. The teacher will also facilitate class discussions and manage assessment tools.
Responsibilities
Prepare lesson plans that integrate theory and real‑world case studies.
Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and workshops for grades 11 and 12.
Assess student performance through exams, projects, and presentations.
Maintain accurate attendance and grade records.
Collaborate with department heads to update syllabi and teaching resources.
Participate in school meetings, parent‑teacher interactions, and extracurricular activities related to political science.
Qualification
Post‑graduate degree in Political Science or related field.
B.Ed or D.El.Ed mandatory.
TET/CTET certification preferred but not required.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
Experience with competitive exam preparation is advantageous.
Salary
Rs.28,000 – Rs.60,000 per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
