Role and Responsibilities
Teach mathematics to students in grades 9 to 12 at Ruby Park Public School in Kankurgachi, Kolkata. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the West Bengal Board curriculum while ensuring clarity and depth in concepts like algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus basics.
Prepare and deliver daily classes, using visual aids, interactive examples, and real-world applications to make abstract ideas accessible. Conduct regular one-on-one or small-group sessions to address student queries and reinforce understanding of challenging topics.
Assess student performance through weekly homework, periodic tests, and continuous evaluation to track progress. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their problem-solving skills and mathematical reasoning.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student achievements as required by school policies. Collaborate with the mathematics department to share best practices and support peer teaching initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements
Hold a graduate degree in any discipline with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) as the minimum qualification. Three years of teaching experience in mathematics or related subjects is essential.
