2. Prepare teaching aids, material lists, and demonstration samples for each session.
3. Conduct hands-on workshops on drawing, painting, origami, clay modeling, and recycled craft.
4. Assess student progress through portfolios and display work in school corridors.
5. Organize monthly art exhibitions within the classroom and school premises.
6. Assist in preparing students for inter-school art competitions in Kolkata and nearby areas.
7. Maintain clean and organized art corners with proper storage of materials.
8. Attend staff meetings and contribute to art-related school events planning.
9. Provide feedback to parents during PTMs on student creativity and improvement areas.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or related field from a recognized university.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a NCTE recognized institution.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Art And Craft for primary students.
- Proficiency in using basic art tools and mediums suitable for young learners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced school environment in Beleghata, Kolkata.
Good to Have
- TET or CTET certification with Art And Craft as a subject.
- Experience in teaching in a CBSE or similar curriculum school.
- Knowledge of local art traditions like Kalighat painting or clay doll making.
