Job Title

Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging Bengali lessons for PRT sections in line with the school curriculum.
2. Assess student progress through regular tests, assignments and oral evaluations, providing constructive feedback.
3. Maintain classroom discipline and create a supportive learning environment for young learners.
4. Prepare teaching aids, worksheets and visual materials to enhance comprehension of language concepts.
5. Participate in parent‑teacher meetings to discuss student performance and address concerns.
6. Collaborate with senior teachers and staff for interdisciplinary activities and school events.
7. Keep accurate records of attendance, grades and lesson plans as per school policy.
8. Undertake continuous professional development through workshops and school‑organized training.
Requirements
- Minimum three years of teaching experience in a primary school setting.
- Graduate degree in any discipline with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification.
- TET/CTET qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong command of Bengali language, both written and spoken, with the ability to teach basic grammar, literature and communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, parents and colleagues.

Salary
Rs.18,000 - Rs.30,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
