How You Will Teach
You will teach English to students from grades 6 to 10, using a range of instructional strategies, including project-based learning, collaborative learning, and technology-enhanced instruction. You will utilize smart boards, Google Classroom, and the LMS to create interactive lessons, share resources, and facilitate student feedback.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students, incorporating technology-enhanced instruction and project-based learning.
2. Utilize smart boards and interactive whiteboards to facilitate collaborative learning and student engagement.
3. Develop and maintain a shared online repository of resources, using Google Classroom and the LMS.
4. Conduct formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement the English curriculum, ensuring alignment with state and national standards.
6. Provide feedback to students on their writing, reading, and speaking skills, using digital tools to enhance the feedback process.
7. Develop and implement technology-enhanced assessments, using online tools to evaluate student learning.
8. Stay updated with the latest developments in English language teaching and learning, incorporating new ideas and strategies into your practice.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Bachelor's degree in English or a related subject from a recognized university.
2. B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution.
3. Minimum 2 years of experience as a full-time English teacher.
4. Strong knowledge of the English language, literature, and pedagogy.
5. Familiarity with technology-enhanced instruction and digital tools, such as Google Classroom and LMS.
6. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
