Voice Missionary School in Kankurgachi, Kolkata, is seeking a dedicated PRT English Teacher to join their team. This is a full-time teaching role focused on shaping young minds through engaging English language instruction.
Responsibilities
Plan and conduct daily English lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum. Ensure interactive teaching methods to improve students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Prepare lesson plans using age-appropriate materials and adapt content to meet diverse learning needs.
Teach grammar, vocabulary, literature, and basic English communication skills. Collaborate with other teachers to create a supportive learning environment. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them excel.
Maintain a clean and organized classroom while fostering a positive atmosphere. Participate in school events, cultural activities, and extracurricular programs to enhance students’ overall development.
Qualification
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) as per the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) guidelines. A graduate degree in English or a related field is required.
Experience
Two years of teaching experience, preferably in an English medium school. Familiarity with CBSE or West Bengal Board syllabus is a plus.
Salary and Employment Type
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs.14,000 to Rs.22,000. This is a full-time position at Voice Missionary School.
