About This Role
We are looking for a qualified and experienced PRT Mathematics Teacher to join our team at The Bss School in Kankurgachi, Kolkata. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Mathematics to our students and contributing to the development of our Mathematics curriculum. Key Responsibilities
* Teach Mathematics to students from Classes 5 to 10
* Plan and deliver engaging and interactive Mathematics lessons
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Develop and implement Mathematics curriculum that aligns with CBSE guidelines
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop a comprehensive and inclusive Mathematics program
* Participate in school events and activities that promote Mathematics education
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student performance
* Contribute to the overall development of the school's Mathematics department
Required Qualifications
* B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree from a recognized university
* TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory
* 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting
* Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills
* Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
* Strong organizational and time management skills
