To support The Eagle Foundation Academy’s commitment to inclusive education, we seek a dedicated Special Educator to oversee specialized programs for students with diverse learning needs in Kankurgachi, Kolkata. This role is part of our leadership team, focusing on curriculum adaptation, resource coordination, and policy implementation for special education initiatives.
For this position, hold a graduate degree with a minimum of two years of relevant experience in special education administration or management. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is essential, ensuring alignment with West Bengal’s education standards. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, prior involvement in special education programs or working with inclusive classrooms will be highly valued.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with The Eagle Foundation Academy’s leadership to design and implement tailored support systems for students with disabilities. Your responsibilities include assessing learning requirements, coordinating with teachers and therapists, and ensuring compliance with NCF (National Curriculum Framework) guidelines for inclusive education. You will also assist in training staff on adaptive teaching methods and monitor progress through structured observation and reporting.
Additionally, you will manage documentation for special education cases, ensuring smooth integration of students into mainstream and special programs. This role requires strong organizational skills, empathy, and the ability to advocate for students’ rights while fostering a supportive school environment.
