About This Role

Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and execute sports events and inter-house competitions at Narayana School Barasat.
2. Lead and train students in cricket, football, athletics, and indoor games.
3. Organize morning PT sessions and ensure regular participation from all grades.
4. Maintain sports equipment inventory and coordinate with vendors for repairs or replacements.
5. Supervise the sports ground, courts, and gymnasium for safety and cleanliness.
6. Represent the school in district and state-level sports meets and tournaments.
7. Prepare monthly reports on student performance and participation in sports.
8. Collaborate with the administration to develop a long-term sports development plan.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Physical Education or Sports Science from a recognized university. Minimum 5 years of experience in sports coaching or administration. Proficiency in MS Office and basic knowledge of sports management software is essential.
Preferred Skills
Experience in organizing large-scale school sports events. Ability to motivate students and handle diverse age groups. Familiarity with NIS or SAI certification will be an added advantage.
