Role Summary
The Tgt Academic Coordinator position at Salt Lake Shiksha Niketam requires an experienced professional to oversee academic planning and coordination across the school. This role ensures alignment of curriculum delivery with institutional goals in A. C Lane, Kolkata. What You Will Do
1. Develop and implement academic policies aligned with Salt Lake Shiksha Niketam’s vision.
2. Coordinate with subject heads to standardize teaching methodologies and assessment patterns.
3. Organize monthly workshops for educators on classroom management and pedagogy updates.
4. Track student performance data to identify trends and recommend corrective measures.
5. Ensure compliance with West Bengal Board norms and CBSE guidelines where applicable.
6. Supervise the creation of academic calendars, term plans, and holiday schedules.
7. Liaise with parents during PTMs to discuss student progress and academic concerns.
8. Maintain records of syllabus completion, exam results, and teacher attendance.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must hold a postgraduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum 5 years of experience in school administration or academic coordination is required. Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace is mandatory. Knowledge of local school systems in Kolkata is an advantage.
