Role Overview
The school seeks a full‑time TGT Biology teacher for Delhi Public School Ruby Park, Kolkata. The incumbent will handle Biology classes for senior sections, preparing students for board examinations and fostering scientific inquiry.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the Biology curriculum to classes IX to XII in accordance with the CBSE framework.
- Conduct practical sessions, maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure safety protocols.
- Assess student performance through tests, assignments and project work, providing timely feedback.
- Participate in departmental meetings, contribute to curriculum planning and co‑ordinate inter‑disciplinary activities.
- Support co‑curricular and extracurricular initiatives related to science and health awareness.
Qualifications & Experience
- Post‑graduate degree in Biology or a related science discipline.
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory; CTET/TET preferred.
- Minimum three years of teaching experience at the secondary level, preferably in a CBSE school.
Salary
Rs.24,000 - Rs.50,000 per month
