TGT Chemistry Teacher Position at IEM Public School in Kankurgachi, Kolkata
Seeking a dedicated TGT Chemistry Teacher to join IEM Public School in North Kolkata’s Kankurgachi campus. This role focuses on delivering chemistry education with a blend of theoretical and practical learning, aligning with modern curriculum standards.
Core Responsibilities
Teach Class 11 and 12 Chemistry as per the CBSE syllabus, ensuring conceptual clarity and problem-solving skills. Design and implement engaging lesson plans, experiments, and demonstrations to enhance student understanding. Assess students regularly through practicals, projects, and written exams, maintaining transparency in grading.
Additional Duties
Coordinate with the science department to integrate chemistry with other subjects like physics and biology. Assist in organizing school events, science fairs, or workshops related to chemistry. Collaborate with parents to support student progress through regular communication.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a postgraduate degree in Chemistry along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Three years of teaching experience in chemistry or a related science subject is mandatory. Experience in guiding students through experimental chemistry is a plus.
Compensation
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary ranging from Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 42,000, depending on qualifications and experience. The role is full-time and based in Kankurgachi, Kolkata.
