TGT Chemistry Teacher Job in Kolkata, West Bengal | School Recruitment
Responsibilities
Design and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons for TGT classes, using practical demonstrations and experiments that suit school resources. Prepare lesson plans, worksheets and assessments that reinforce core concepts and encourage analytical thinking. Conduct regular lab safety checks and maintain equipment, ensuring a safe learning environment for students. Mentor students in project work and science fairs, guiding them to apply Chemistry knowledge creatively. Participate in department meetings, school events and parent‑teacher interactions to support overall student development.
Qualification
Post‑graduate qualification in Chemistry with B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory. Candidates should have cleared TET/CTET, which is preferred for school teaching positions. A solid understanding of school‑level Chemistry pedagogy and the ability to simplify complex topics are essential.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of full‑time teaching experience in a school setting, preferably handling TGT Chemistry classes. Experience with laboratory management and student assessment in a school environment will be advantageous.
Salary
Rs.18,000 - Rs.40,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
