Prepare low-floor, high-ceiling tasks that allow beginners to start with block-based coding and advanced students to solve real-world problems.
Use simple analogies from everyday life—such as traffic lights for conditional statements—to explain abstract ideas.
Conduct formative assessments every fortnight through short quizzes, peer reviews, and project showcases to track progress without stress.
Maintain a resource corner with printed worksheets, reference cards, and visual aids for quick revision during free periods.
Collaborate with the math and science departments to integrate computational thinking across subjects.
Support school initiatives like coding clubs, inter-house competitions, and parent orientation sessions on digital safety.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with Computer Science as a teaching subject.
Prior experience of at least two years in a school setting, preferably in Kolkata or nearby districts.
