Iem Public School | Saltlake is looking for a TGT English Teacher for its Kankurgachi campus in Kolkata. The role involves delivering English curriculum to senior classes and fostering language proficiency among students.
Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging English lessons for classes IX and X in accordance with the board syllabus.
Create and evaluate worksheets, assignments, and assessments to monitor student progress.
Incorporate interactive teaching aids, literature, and multimedia resources to enhance learning.
Provide remedial support and personalized feedback to students needing additional help.
Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and parent‑teacher interactions to discuss student performance.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and classroom activities as per school policy.
Qualification
Post‑graduate degree in English or related discipline with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed.
CTET/TET qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
Minimum three years of teaching experience at the TGT level in a recognized school.
Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom and deliver the curriculum effectively.
Salary and employment type
Salary: Rs.21,000 – Rs.40,000 per month.
Employment type: Full‑time.
