Your students will be eager to learn, and you will be expected to create engaging and interactive lesson plans that cater to their needs.
What You Will Do
1. Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons to students in grades 9-12, adapting your teaching style to meet the needs of diverse learners.
2. Develop and implement assessment strategies to evaluate student progress and understanding of Physics concepts.
3. Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration among students.
4. Provide individualized support to students who require extra help or have special needs.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that promote Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education.
6. Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in Physics education, incorporating new ideas and techniques into your teaching.
7. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to promote student success and well-being.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree, with a strong background in Physics. A teaching experience of at least 2 years at a school in Kolkata is essential, and a TET or CTET certification is preferred. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be willing to go above and beyond to meet the needs of your students.
