Located in the bustling Kankurgachi area, the school thrives on fostering curiosity and excellence in STEM education, offering a supportive environment for growth.
The successful candidate will teach General Science across Class 6 to 12, ensuring alignment with CBSE curriculum standards while encouraging hands-on learning through experiments and interactive projects. With a focus on holistic development, the role demands expertise in both theoretical and practical aspects of science, along with the ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learning needs.
A postgraduate degree in Science (with a minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience) is mandatory. A key responsibility will be designing engaging lesson plans that bridge theory and real-world applications, particularly in areas like environmental science and technology. The school encourages candidates with experience in integrating modern teaching tools, such as interactive whiteboards and digital resources, to enhance classroom engagement. Additionally, maintaining a high standard of academic rigor while fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere is essential.
For this role, the ability to communicate complex scientific ideas clearly and passionately is crucial. Candidates should also be comfortable working with students of varying abilities, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs. The school’s emphasis on extracurricular activities, such as science fairs and robotics clubs, means the ideal candidate will thrive in a multifaceted environment where science education extends beyond the classroom.
Experience in shaping young minds through experiential learning—whether through field trips, lab work, or collaborative projects—will be highly valued. The successful applicant will not only teach but also inspire students to explore their curiosity about the natural world. IEM Public School is committed to nurturing educators who leave a lasting impact on their students and the broader community.
