PGT Accountancy Teacher Job in Maldah, West Bengal | School Recruitment
Swapnaneer Public School, Malda, is hiring a PGT Accountancy teacher for its senior secondary section. The role is based in Malda, Maldah, West Bengal and involves delivering the Accountancy curriculum to classes XI and XII.
Responsibilities
Plan and conduct engaging Accountancy lessons as per the West Bengal Board syllabus, ensuring concepts are clearly explained and students develop analytical skills. Prepare teaching aids, worksheets, and practical assignments that reinforce theoretical knowledge. Evaluate student performance through regular tests, assignments, and term examinations, providing constructive feedback. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress reports in accordance with school policies. Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum reviews, and school events, contributing ideas for continuous improvement. Supervise and mentor junior staff and guide students in career counselling related to commerce streams.
Qualification
Post‑graduate degree in Commerce or related field with a recognized B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Candidates having cleared TET or CTET will be preferred.
Experience
Minimum two years of teaching experience in Accountancy at the senior secondary level, preferably in a school following the West Bengal Board curriculum.
Salary and employment type
Salary: Rs.30,000 – Rs.55,000 per month
Employment type: Full‑time, permanent position.
