Job Overview
The Tarbiyah Public School West Bengal is looking for an experienced PGT Physics Teacher to join the senior secondary team immediately. Immediate joining is preferred for the right candidate with proven classroom experience in Physics at the higher secondary level. This is a full-time position with a focus on delivering high-quality Physics education to students in classes XI and XII.
What You Will Do
Prepare and deliver engaging Physics lessons aligned with the West Bengal Board curriculum for classes XI and XII. Conduct regular practical sessions, experiments, and demonstrations to reinforce theoretical concepts in the Physics lab. Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and periodic evaluations to identify learning gaps in Physics.
Design and implement remedial classes for students struggling with core Physics topics such as Mechanics, Electromagnetism, and Thermodynamics. Organize subject enrichment activities including quiz competitions, science exhibitions, and Olympiad preparation for competitive exams. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, marks, and academic progress in Physics.
Collaborate with the school management and senior teachers to review and update the Physics curriculum and teaching methodologies. Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and academic workshops to support the overall educational environment.
Who Can Apply
Candidates with a postgraduate degree in Physics and a B.Ed degree from a recognized institution are eligible to apply. Minimum 4 years of full-time teaching experience in Physics at the senior secondary level is required. TET/CTET certification is not mandatory but will be considered an added advantage.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary between Rs.45,000 and Rs.55,000 based on qualifications and experience. The package includes PF contributions, health insurance, and access to professional development opportunities. Additional benefits may include leave travel allowance and performance-based incentives.
